It was stated that the institute has taken four years to complete, and costed 60,000,000 lire to complete (1,000,000 British Pounds in the exchange rate mechanism.) Signor Bottai, President of the Fascist Party Organization responsible for the building of the sanatorium who gave the above figures, also said that by 1937, Italy would have altogether fifty-eight senatoria, with 18,686 beds, including the 2,500 beds in the city of Sandalo. ...
