“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” This verse comes from the Bible book of Proverbs chapter 13, verse 22. There are unfortunately many Christian church-goers of the knuckleheaded sort, that see this verse as Jesus telling them that they can steal material, and/or intellectual property from “sinners, wicked people, or non-Christians.” What a shame that these people’s clergymen have failed them so miserably in Christian theology.
